The original ultra-thin flat pedal evolved, the Canfield Bikes Crampon Ultimate is our thinnest platform, featuring patented convex shape, ultra-thin leading edges and double-sided pins.

BREAK-IN PERIOD: New or freshly serviced Canfield Crampon pedals may spin more slowly at first. This is normal and expected, as fresh grease is used to prioritize smooth operation and long-term durability. After a few rides, the grease will break in and the pedals will spin more freely. Periodic greasing helps maintain consistent feel and performance—thicker grease extends service intervals, while lighter grease increases free-spin but requires more frequent maintenance. We recommend adding grease every 3 months with heavy use.
